A Day with Walton and Grace
Woke up today and spent the day with the kids. Since I had never really met them before (I saw Walton at a family reunion when he was 2), it was a nice chance to get to know them.
Walton is 13 years old and an extreme parkour enthusiast. Grace is 9 years old and loves animals. They are both very active children, they go running multiples times a week, hike and swim.
The kids took me for a walk around their part of town. The house is in the suburbs of Athens, about 4 km from the metro which is convenient for me.

We walked and got some authentic greek ice cream as I chatted with the two of them. Then we went to a park where we played parkour tag. After about an hour, we were all tired, me moreso than the others, and we returned to the house.
Mary Beth home at around 3 pm and took us all to the Acropolis, Akropoli to the Greeks, by metro. We walked out of the metro station and the gigundo Acropolis was right there, a surreal experience. We explored the Acropolis for about 1 hour while Walton gave me centuries worth of knowledge about the historical significance of the Parthenon and Greece.
We met Mickey for dinner with 2 of Mary Beth's relatives then hiked up to Mar's Rock to see Athens and the Acropolis at sunset. It was such an amazing feeling being up there. I kept on wishing that Nadia could've been there to see it with me.
After sunset we went home and I got rested up for my big day in Athens flying solo.
